  2. EDUCATION II USER'S GUIDE
  3. ------------------------
  4.         All documentation assumes you have a basic understanding of how to use your computer and the programs you have purchased for it.

  6. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  7. -------------------
  8.             Education II images require application(s) that are compatible with EPS and TIF file formats.  All EPS images are saved using Adobe Illustrator.  All TIF images are saved with Adobe Photoshop. Any other hardware or software requirements will be based primarily on the applications you use and the type of final output you plan to produce.

  10.         The illustrations in this collection are each provided in 2 file formats. They are differentiated by file name as follows:

  12. EPS FILES:
  13.         Ñ Illustrator 3.0, naming convention 001EDU02.EPS
  14.  
  15. TIF FILES:
  16.         Ñ Photoshop 2.5, naming convention 001EDU02.TIF
  17.  
  18. USING THE ARTWORK ON THIS CD
  19. -----------------------------
  20. PAGE LAYOUT PROGRAMS:
  21.         Open your page layout program. Create a new document and PLACE the EPS or TIF files as you would any other images. The following page layout programs are compatible with  EPS and TIF file formats:
  22.         Ñ Adobe PageMaker
  23.         Ñ QuarkXPress
  24.  
  25. DRAW PROGRAMS:
  26.      To edit the EPS files, open or import (Corel Draw!) them with your draw program.
  27. EPS files: 
  28.             Ñ Adobe Illustrator
  29.             Ñ Macromedia Freehand        
  30.             Ñ Corel DRAW!
  31.  
  32. PAINT PROGRAMS:
  33.         The TIF files can be manipulated like any other bitmap images in the following programs:
  34.         Ñ Adobe Photoshop
  35.         Ñ Corel Photo-Paint
  36.  
  37. If your application was not listed above, please refer to your manual for compatibility.
